Position

The part-time Bookkeeper position will provide support for the Finance office. The primary focus of the position will be the reconciliation of and corresponding journal entries for selected accounts. The part-time Bookkeeper will also provide basic financial analysis for selected accounts as needed. This position will also provide additional support to the Finance office by maintaining filing of current month work as well as prior year file maintenance. Though the position is flexible, additional hours of support may be needed during special events and the annual audit.

Qualifications

  • Spiritual: Be an active participating Christian in a local church congregation .
  • Education: Minimum of Associates degree in Accounting or Business, or 3 years of experience
  • Specific Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills required. Solid knowledge in business, finance, and accounting is required
  • License: Valid driver’s licenses
  • Other Requirements: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

Executive Assistant- Full-time Non-Exempt

Position

Bethel Bible Village has a new opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant. This role provides high-level administrative support to the ministry, President/CEO, Board of Directors, and other staff with major functions including organization, correspondence, and other operational duties within the office. Also serves as our volunteer coordinator.

Qualifications

  • Spiritual: Living a vibrant Christian faith and active in a local Bible-believing church.
  • Education: Related bachelor’s degree.
  • Specific Skills: 2-4 years working in an administrative role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strict attention to detail and strong data entry skills. Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. Ability to work independently or as a team. Ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
  • License: Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Other Requirements: Applicant must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S., and successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical. Knowledge of administrative procedures and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Able to lift to 25 lbs.

Middle/ School Teacher – Spanish

Position

Bethel Bible Village has an opportunity for an experienced Teacher. This role exists to teach residential and day students who attend Bethel Christian Academy by working with a multidisciplinary team to assist students who may struggle in traditional school settings due to emotional, behavioral, or family crisis situations. Individualized instruction and learning plans are developed based on each student’s needs.

Qualifications

  • The individual fulfilling this role will protect the credibility of the Bethel Bible Village mission by complying with the Bethel Bible Village Standard of Conduct setting an example, in words and actions that are consistent with the values and beliefs of Bethel Bible Village.
  • It is expected that professional and technical knowledge will be maintained by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • MUST be able to teach Spanish.
  • Exemplify a vibrant Christian faith personally and professionally.
  • Teach assigned academic subjects 180 days per school year plus 80 hours (4 weeks ½ days) of summer program.
  • Hold regular meetings with appropriate staff to keep them informed of students’ progress.
  • Obtain all materials necessary to instruct each student.
  • Keep a record of daily lesson plans, attendance, and grades.
  • Attend all conferences, team meetings, and training as directed by the Education Coordinator
  • Work together with the Program Services staff to accomplish the goals set for each child.
