Position Overview

The position of Educational Assistant exists to assist students who are in care at Bethel who have been determined by a multidisciplinary team to need self-contained instruction based on the student’s I.Q., grade level, learning disabilities, or behavior.

Qualifications: 

Spiritual: Be an active, participating member in a local Christian church. In accordance with the Mission of Bethel Bible Village, we will share the gospel with children in our care, as well as their families, to help them know and respond to the love of God in Christ.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma; Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Specific Skills/Requirements: Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills required.  Should possess a teachable spirit and cooperative and pleasant attitude; sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the residents and families served.

    Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician – Full Time

    MISSION

    Position Overview

    The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving Bethel’s physical plant facilities, systems and equipment across multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, along with general building and vehicle maintenance. This role supports safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations through preventive maintenance, procurement of supplies, emergency repairs, and continuous improvement activities.

    Qualifications: 

    Spiritual: Be an active participating member in a local Christian church. In accordance with the Mission of Bethel Bible Village, we will share the gospel with children in our care, as well as their families, to help them know and respond to the love of God in Christ.

    Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or certification in maintenance, industrial technology, HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred.

    Specific Skills/Requirements: Safety mindset, clear communication, punctual, independent, productive, efficient, and recognition of appropriate escalation.

    Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Should have broad knowledge and background in physical facility maintenance, including mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and welding/brazing. Basic knowledge of household appliances. Must have a valid driver’s license

      Director of Facilities – Full Time

      MISSION

      Position Overview

      The Director of Facilities provides strategic leadership and operational management for maintenance, support services, safety, logistics and long-term planning of all facilities and physical assets. This role oversees the operation and maintenance of academic buildings, residential housing, grounds, fleet, infrastructure, technology, and support systems to ensure safety, continuity, efficiency, attractiveness, and mission-aligned environments for students, residents, staff, and visitors. The Director works collaboratively with executives and program directors to support organizational goals related to education, residential life, sustainability, and operational excellence.

      Qualifications: 

      Spiritual: Be an active participating member in a local Christian church. In accordance with the Mission of Bethel Bible Village, will share the gospel with children in our care, as well as their families, to help them know and respond to the love of God in Christ.

      Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum 7 years of progressive supervisory and facilities management experience required. Experience managing residential, educational, institutional, or campus environments preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

      Specific Skills/Requirements: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Develop collaborative partnerships across functional areas. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in emergency situations.

      Specialized Knowledge/Licenses: Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, building systems, construction practices, IT systems, and security systems preferred. Understanding of OSHA regulations, fire/life safety codes, ADA compliance, and risk management. Proficiency with CMMS/work order systems and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver’s license required. Professional, industry and trade licenses are beneficial.

        House Parents Couple – Full Time

        MISSION

        Our mission is to provide Christ-centered homes and education for children, equipping and inspiring them to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.

        Position Overview

        The House Parent Couple will bring the children and youth to spiritual, emotional, physical, and social maturity until their own homes can be restored. It is the Houseparents’ responsibility to train the children and youth in all areas of life according to Biblical principles and good childcare practices. The Houseparent(s) will have a full understanding of the diverse cultures and circumstances experienced by our clients. These employees will live on campus with room and board provided by Bethel. The schedule is 4 days on and 3 days off. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 403(b), and paid time off. Due to the nature of the position, our policy allows the House Parent couple to have up to two children of their own within the household.

        Qualifications: 

        Spiritual: In accordance with the Mission of Bethel Bible Village, will share the gospel with children in our care, as well as their families, to help them know and respond to the love of God in Christ. Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation.

        Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.

        Requirements: The minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years of age. Because of the live-in nature of the position, no more than two dogs are permitted, and they must live outside. A candidate must successfully pass a physical, drug screen, and TB test.

        Specific Skills: One year of youth-related experience. Sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the residents and families served. Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are preferred. Previous computer experience preferred.

          Individual Houseparent – Full Time

          MISSION

          Position Overview

          This position provides a temporary home for children and youth in the absence of natural parents. The Houseparent will bring the children and youth to spiritual, emotional, physical, and social maturity until their own homes can be restored. It is the Houseparents’ responsibility to train the children and youth in all areas of life according to Biblical principles and good childcare practices. The Houseparent will have a full understanding of the diverse cultures and circumstances experienced by our clients. The Houseparent will assist in the training of other house parent staff.

          Qualifications: 

          Spiritual: Be an active participating member in a local Christian church. In accordance with the Mission of Bethel Bible Village, will share the gospel with children in our care, as well as their families, to help them know and respond to the love of God in Christ.

          Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.

          Requirements: The minimum age requirement for this position is 25 years of age. A married or single person may apply; however, the living quarters are tight for two people. Because of the live-in nature of the position, no more than two dogs are permitted, and they must live outside. A candidate must successfully pass a physical, drug screen, and TB test.

          Specific Skills: One year of youth-related experience. Sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the residents and families served. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills are preferred. Previous computer experience preferred.
