Dr. George S. Edwards, Jr. not only lived a life of many accomplishments, but pursued a life of giving back to children through his career in dentistry.
As a former member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Edwards first learned of Bethel Bible Village through a civic organization he volunteered with at the time. Fifty years ago, in March 1974, he initiated the dental care program at Bethel, in which he partitioned 17 dentists, 12 general practitioners and five specialists to provide free dental care to children, for over 10 years.
We are thankful that Dr. Edwards shared a heart for children and will remember the lives he impacted in his career over 26 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of great loss.
