Position Overview
The position of Teacher exists to assist children who are in care at Bethel who have been determined by a multidisciplinary team to need self-contained instruction based on the student’s I.Q., grade level, learning disabilities, or behavior.
Qualifications:
*Ability to teach other subjects
Spiritual: Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation.
Education: Related bachelor’s degree required.
Specific Skills: Experience working with youth who may have academic and behavioral concerns preferred. Excellent classroom management skills required. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and previous computer experience required.
License: Current license or preparation to obtain license in TN required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Other Requirements: Applicant must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S., and successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

Part-Time or Full-Time Bethel Christian Academy Literacy Interventionist (25-40 hours)

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time Literacy Interventionist. The Literacy Interventionist is responsible for supporting achievement in the core academic areas (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies), especially in the areas of reading, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. The Interventionist provides individual or small group instruction to students who are struggling academically.
Qualifications:
- Spiritual: Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation
- Education: bachelor’s degree; Literacy Intervention experience preferred.
- Specific Skills/Requirements: Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills required. Should possess a teachable spirit and a cooperative and pleasant attitude; sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the residents and families served.
- License: Valid driver’s license required
- Other Requirements: Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years of age. Applicant must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S., and successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

House Parent – Full Time
MISSION
Our mission is to provide Christ-centered homes and education for children, equipping and inspiring them to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
Position Overview
The House Parent Couple will bring the children and youth to spiritual, emotional, physical, and social maturity until their own homes can be restored. It is the Houseparents’ responsibility to train the children and youth in all areas of life according to Biblical principles and good childcare practices. The Houseparent(s) will have a full understanding of the diverse cultures and circumstances experienced by our clients. These employees will live on campus with room and board provided by Bethel. The schedule is 4 days on and 3 days off. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 403(b), and paid time off. Due to the nature of the position, our policy allows the House Parent couple to have up to two children of their own within the household.
Qualifications:
Spiritual: Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
Specific Skills: One year of youth-related experience. Sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the residents and families served. Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are preferred. Previous computer experience preferred.
License: Current license or preparation to obtain license in TN required. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Manager of Marketing & Communications- Full Time
MISSION

Position Overview
The Manager of Marketing and Communications is responsible for development and implementation of marketing and communication strategy across all channels, elevating community engagement through planning and execution of events, managing Bethel Bible Village’s brand and digital platforms, and supporting efforts of the Development department to engage supporters and expand awareness.
Qualifications:
Spiritual: Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism required. At least five years of experience in marketing/fundraising experience required.
Specific Skills: Possesses knowledge and experience in marketing theory, branding, and application. Writes professionally, demonstrating exceptional writing and language skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Possesses good technical understanding with the ability to pick up new tools quickly. Relationship building with prospective donors and current donors. Managing the department budget.
License: Current license or preparation to obtain license in TN required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Specialized Knowledge: Considerable knowledge and understanding of Marketing with non-profit experience preferred. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Mail Chimp, various social media platforms, and website content management.
